The City and Town of Plattsburgh are proud to announce a collaborative Memorial Day Parade, taking place on Monday, May 26, 2025, to honor and remember the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
The parade will begin at 12:00PM at West Side Ballroom, located in the Town of Plattsburgh, proceeding right onto New York Road, entering the traffic circle, and continuing straight on New York Road before concluding at the U.S. Oval in the City of Plattsburgh.
Following the parade, attendees are invited to gather at the U.S. Oval for a special ceremony at 1PM, including a performace of The National Anthem by the Plattsburgh Highschool A Capella group Encore. Several food trucks will also be serving up food and drinks.
The deadline to register for the parade is Thursday May 15th at 4:00PM. This deadline is firm and allows organizers enough time to organize the parade line up. Late entries will not be accepted.
To maintain the focus on honoring veterans, businesses will not be permitted to participate in the parade. This is to ensure the event remains a respectful tribute rather than a promotional opportunity. However, non-profit organizations, schools, and community groups not affiliated with the military are welcome to register and show their support.
